Although much of my work today focuses on QuickBooks Online, I believe that if I'm going to teach others, I need to continue learning and expanding my own knowledge.

With over 25 years of accounting experience, I'm still committed to strengthening my skills and staying knowledgeable across different QuickBooks platforms.

Just because your bank accounts are reconciled in QuickBooks, does that mean your books are accurate?

I can't tell you how often I see transactions that have cleared the bank perfectly but have been categorized to completely incorrect accounts.

Your reconciliations might be perfect, but your Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet could still be telling the wrong story.

You can just comment something like “C + 6 PM” or “D + mornings.”
