Hi from Molly, owner of IntentPR. :-) ... I live and work about a mile from Lake Michigan, and so I try to walk to the beach every day. And each day without fail, our beautiful lake has coughed up more plastic, up and down the shoreline. We walkers bring our bags to clean up the beach, but the waste just keeps coming; it's systemic and seems insurmountable. So when I hear about companies like Interface that have found ways to eliminate all negative environmental impacts, I'm heartened. Capitalism indeed can do great things beyond providing paychecks and profits. It can help fix our greatest problems. In the post that I'm sharing, you'll see an opportunity to view a screening of a new documentary film about how Interface made it happen.
