Ayron and Rebecca from our team had a great time last Thursday at Tech Trends 2026, hosted by Keith Brophy and Dre Wallace at Midtown GR! This is a thought-provoking event every year!
Here are a few standout predictions that have us talking:
GitHub over GPA from Dre. We’ll likely see employers prioritizing demonstrable skills and portfolios over 4-year degrees. Being able to prove you can do the work and have the skills, more than just a degree.
AI Data Centers' impact. Big Tech will be abandoning urban hubs for massive rural "data center ranches," triggering the largest rural land grab in modern history. Energy demands are staggering for existing data centers, but the future will demand more closed loop water systems for cooling and even mini nuclear reactors for energy.
Lifelong AI Mentors. Imagine your favorite teacher, coach, and mentor rolled into one, available to you throughout your entire life. This could be where we’re headed as people have more dialogue with AI.
Your Metabolic Health Twin in AI. Where predictions for treatment, scenarios, etc., can be “tested” on an AI twin before your own body. We’ll see what insurance companies and wearables do over the next year plus.
The pace of change is accelerating faster than ever; we see it in marketing every single day. It's both exciting and humbling. Big thanks to Keith and Dre for another insightful evening!
