Effective public health messaging starts with understanding your audience. 🔍

This month, Arianna traveled to Benton Harbor to present at the Berrien County Health Department’s Teen Social Media Message Development Workshop. She shared best practices for creating effective social media ads, then supported teens as they brainstormed ideas they think will resonate with their peers.

Their creativity and unique perspectives will help shape the Health Department’s educational campaigns, helping us create more relevant and relatable content for our teen audience.

There is nowhere better to spend a summer day than our beloved lakeshore towns in West Michigan. Recently, we were honored to play a small role in helping the City of South Haven welcome a new dedicated lifeguard team to its South Beach. In addition to watching the water, they make time to educate kids and the community on beach and water safety. News Channel 3 WWMT TV shares more:

In a little less than their two months of active service, South Haven lifeguards responded to 754 calls for service.

The historic theater at 1130 Wealthy St. SE is celebrating its 115th anniversary this August with a monthlong lineup of events intended to showcase the breadth of programming the venue offers. The celebration also provides an opportunity to look back at the building’s long and sometimes turbulent history — and ahead to its future as a community gathering place.⁠

Originally constructed in 1911, the theater opened Aug. 10 of that year as Pastime Vaudette. Its early years were rooted in vaudeville and live theater, but its role in the neighborhood would change considerably over the decades.⁠
