We got together for a team photo recently to celebrate a win for one of our clients. Our passion for – and loyalty to – our clients even means we proudly don their brand colors from time to time!

Lisa was with us in spirit – and was also in green.

Strong partnerships are built with intention. 🤝

Part of our team traveled to Evanston, Illinois, last week to visit Mather , a not-for-profit organization dedicated to creating Ways to Age Well. At Sabo PR, we prioritize opportunities to connect in person for thoughtful strategy conversations and truly enjoy building genuine relationships with our clients.

In between our meetings, we toured a few of their beautiful senior living communities, captured fresh headshots of their team and became quick fans of Lucy Goosey, the beloved porch goose in their art department. 🪿

Through high-quality video storytelling, we help municipalities communicate important initiatives clearly and effectively — making it easier for residents to stay informed, engaged and connected.

One meaningful story formed into the right pitch and sent to the right reporter can translate to coverage that travels far beyond one market. This heartwarming story with Emmanuel Hospice was beautifully told by 13 On Your Side’s Jordan Hatfield and then took on a ripple effect with more than 35 sister stations across the country.

Having clients that do amazing work certainly paves the way to successful stories like this. Great partners make all the difference, too. The team at Broadway Grand Rapids not only donated the tickets for this special patient wish but was also quick to make accommodations for an on-site interview to amplify the story. And best of all, yet another wish was granted for a community member under the compassionate care of Emmanuel Hospice.

We’re proud to take part in WMPRSA - West Michigan Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America's Mentor Match. Programs like this create meaningful opportunities to grow professionally, strengthen connections across the West Michigan PR community and support the next generation of public relations professionals.

Through the program, our team members are learning in different ways:

Lisa is building leadership and mentorship skills by serving as a mentor. She is supporting Grand Valley State University student Chacarria Royale with resume and portfolio review, professional development resources and networking as she works toward her first internship.

Aaron was mentored by Jill Simpson, APR, of Trace3, who provided valuable insights into AI applications in the PR profession and client management techniques.

We’re grateful to WMPRSA for offering this opportunity and to our team for embracing ways to learn, share and give back.

If you’ve been driving around town lately, you may have seen a few familiar shots from our visual services department! Nothing beats seeing our clients showcased on a bigger stage. Next time you’re on the road, keep an eye out for these Care Resources PACE and Children's Healing Center billboards throughout West Michigan.

We’re fierce advocates and strategic partners for our clients. A great example comes from our work with Secure Environment Consultants, LLC.

When the state allocated millions of dollars in grant funding for security assessments at K-12 schools, Secure Environment Consultants turned to Sabo PR to help position SEC as the best partner for the job.

We developed a targeted campaign that cut through the noise of complex and ever-changing messaging to get the company in front of school administrators. Using a mix of thought leadership strategies, digital marketing, social media and media relations, we didn’t just promote services—we positioned SEC as Michigan’s leader in school safety.

The success of these combined efforts helped SEC not only secure contracts but also expand services and become the go-to security expert for reporters across the state and beyond. Most importantly, hundreds of thousands of Michigan students now have an extra level of protection in their schools.

🏓 Children's Healing Center’s Pop-Up Play fundraiser, helping expand the healing power of play for children with complex medical conditions and their families across Michigan.

🎥 Grand Rapids Community Media Center Open Projector Night at Wealthy Theatre, celebrating Michigan filmmakers and their incredible short films.

🏐 Grand Rapids Rise game in support of Girls on the Run West Michigan, cheering on our local team and supporting GOTR programming that builds confidence and empowers girls.

🐾 Humane Society of West Michigan’s Paws, Claws and Corks gala, helping them expand their reach and mission to give second chances to all animals that come through their doors.

Weeks like this remind us of the impact our clients and nonprofits have in our community and how grateful we are to support them.
