Transplant Games of America officials announced today that the 2014 Games have been awarded to the City of Houston. The winning bid was submitted by the Harris County-Houston Sports Authority in alliance with the George R. Brown Convention Center, the University of Houston, and Methodist J.C. Walter Jr. Transplant Center who directs a prominent transplant program covering all major transplant disciplines. The event will be held July 10-15, 2014. It's here! Athletes arrive in Grand Rapids today for the Transplant Games of America - Opening Ceremony is Saturday night, and ALL are welcome to come be a part of this amazing event to celebrate life and increase awareness of organ donation.

Details: Opening ceremonies will be held on Sat. July 28 at the Van Andel Arena, which will include the parade of athletes and lighting of the cauldron.
