It's been a minute... Pandemic has shaken up life for everyone, and for me, it's meant waaaay more time at my other job helping my church do even more digitally and therefore less time behind the camera and this account. BUT I am still open for shoots and super grateful for these beautiful people who reached out about their annual shoot!

Any procrastinators out there?? I gotchu. I also wait until the last minute to fit in a family shoot before I need to make Christmas cards 😂 Let me know if you want to squeeze something in (and are willing to brave the cold).

My Story

I’m Ahna Ruth Terpstra Ziegler (ARTZ), a digital artist from Michigan. I fell in love with film at an early age because it combined two passions: beauty and storytelling. I studied media production in college and also discovered a love for graphic design, and later, photography.

I wish I could capture every smile, every laugh, every wise word and wrinkle!

I also have a passion for social justice. If you are a nonprofit, I am willing to negotiate a price that fits your budget.
