We are looking for a sign installer to join our team at Legend Sign Co.
We have been in business in Grand Rapids for over 20 years and we are looking for a person to help with in-house production as well as external signage installations.

Requirements of the position are:
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Experience with a variety of hand and power tools.
- Ability to work independently, responsibly, and make sound efficient decisions.
- Good problem solving skills.
- Good communication skills with staff and customers, able to present a professional appearance.
- Clear driving record.
- Outdoor and indoor work, exposure to various weather conditions and heights up to 10'.
- Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, twisting, arm and back movements.
- Digging with a shovel or post hole digger, or power auger, and climbing a ladder.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

We provide tools and all equipment for this position.

Schedule is weekdays 8:45AM-5:00PM.

Experience with vinyl graphics application is preferred but not necessarily required.

We're always happy to see other small businesses growing and thriving. Several years ago we did a set of channel letters for the first location of Poncho’s Tacos on 28th St. so we were elated when they came back to us for their signage at their new location near Division & 76th.

We definitely can't wait until they open and we can grab some of their delicious tacos when we're on that side of town!

Legend Sign Company is looking for a motivated individual who can perform basic sign production. Job duties will include weeding and applying vinyl, cutting substrates and could include basic design work. Some light installation may also be required. Entry level position with a relaxed atmosphere and flexible conditions. Candidate will also have customer contact and have good interpersonal skills. Entry level job position and company promotes from withing Good driving record is required. Experience preferred but will train responsible individual.
