📚 Welcome to I Love My Library Grant, NE 📚
We created this page because our community library is facing a $48,000 budget cut, nearly one-third of its operating budget.
Our library provides internet access, children’s programming, literacy support, educational resources, community events, technology, a safe space for kids and families, and opportunities that many in our community rely on every single day.
Cuts of this size have a domino effect:
➡️ Budget cuts lead to reduced programs, services, hours, and employment
➡️ Reduced programs can risk library accreditation
➡️ Loss of accreditation can mean losing eligibility for grants and outside funding
This issue affects our entire community, especially our children and future literacy efforts.
This page will be used to:
