It is my pleasure to announce the commencement of the auditions for Little Theatre’s March show. This year, we will be performing "StarDate 1970” a spoof musical based on the TV show Star Trek.
The auditions will commence for the acting and singing roles on 12/11/2021) there will be an additional addition on 12/16/2021. Both will take place at Barefoot Bay Recreation Center located at 625 Barefoot Blvd in building A, from 5:00 PM to 9:00PM
There will be 22 roles, along with a host of supporting positions in lighting, sound, staging. Needed also are set and costume personal as required. This is a show I have written so there will be changes as we go though the rehearsal process. Those who wish to audition can request the script be emailed to them. Additionally, help to aid in the with backstage preparations and props, is also requested.
Club members who are selected for their respective roles will have to devote two hours every day for practice time at home. Furthermore, you will be required to attend rehearsal sessions during the week and weekend for an extended duration. I will hopefully have that schedule at the auditions. Be prepared to read from the script for the role you are auditioning for. Singers be prepared to sing songs from the show as well as a few others. Dancers will need to have knowledge of dances from the 1970s timeline.
I have worked with many of you in the past and I’m looking forward to doing it again. For those new folks be prepared for a fun learning experience in the art of live theatre.

Over the years I have started and sold a few businesses, but graphics have been the one that has kept my interest. As a serial entrepreneur, I am always thinking of a new way to look at our industry. In the beginning stages of computer graphics, it was a rough road. The cost of RAM and computers were so high, equipment and software manufacturers were coming out with bigger, better and newer every month. Only the best could keep up. The graphics/print world was in an evolution/revolution. Everyone was trying to learn the next thing.

The industry has matured and although there are still some frustrations, the print world is a much better place now. In fact, the costs have dropped so dramatically that just about every business can afford to produce the marketing materials that they need.

We have now reached a new plateau in printing that can change everything again. Even though now most every business can afford to design and print full-color business cards and other Identity pieces there was still a large gap in who could afford to print large/grand format graphics, it was still way too expensive to keep up with the big boys on large/grand format.

But here we are coming up on 2020 and that is about to change BIG time. The large and grand format printing costs are coming down a lot. Soon it will be less expensive to put up a large format print on your wall than it cost to paint it. … and that will change everything. We look at large format printing today as just a marketing tool that is used by big business to get your attention and it works great.
Now it is cost effective to produce many other things like backdrops for a theatrical production in local theaters, churches, and schools. It cost less, it is smarter, faster and easier than having an artist come in and paint it. I am starting a new large/grand format business that will cater to the small entertainment venues that are located all crossed this great country and the world. THAT IS MY NEW PROJECT! I am just in the creating stage of this, so don’t expect much yet.

I am working on the web design and marketing plan to hit the right customers and get the best listings for search functions. If you can help with that please feel free to contact me… but have a plan before you do.

Here is a new design for the side of the Trailer for Vickie's Seafood. They love it. Hope everyone else does as well. If you have not used her for your seafood your not getting the best. We had a big fish fry with her Maki Maki and it was... slap your f***y good. Thanks, Vickie Harrison Richardson
