This means giving people a look at how you run your business, maybe do a "day in the life" video or a behind the scenes of your product prep. Talk about why you developed your service to best help your audience.

A look through your eyes will only create more trust in your brand and ultimately lead to more clients.

Are you watching the blinking cursor again? Unsure of what to write and how? Writing amazing copy isn't as hard as you think!

This week's "Market Your Business" Series tip is all about writing, and writing is just an extension of speaking!

Think about the last time you spoke about your business. You likely were very passionate and excited. So, write like you speak. People find it easier to connect when you write from the heart.

If you're writing a blog about a new service you're offering, talk about why you're offering it, tell the story of how you put the service together. If you're writing about a sale, be sure to write out why this sale is essential to your customer.

Hot tip: Do voice to text first and edit from there! And don't be afraid to use emojis! 😉

Look at your latest social post and determine how you could have written it better, then take those ideas and write your next post.

How often are you posting on social, sharing a new blog to your site or even updating your window display?

This week for the "Market Your Business" Series, we are talking about content scheduling! Get out your planners and highlighters!

Last week we discussed making content pillars and post ideas, now it's time to get them organized.

All you then have to do is write it out in a spreadsheet or use a social media planning tool to get everything scheduled. 📝 Then you can either knock out all your content on a select day or make sure you block out time each week to meet your goals.

Take 15 minutes and quick create a layout of all the things you want to post for the next month and watch the tension leave your shoulders for having this job under control!

When considering photo/video, you want the copy to match the photo. If talking about a new product, use a stylized photo of it in action or in its the packaging. If discussing your history as a company, share a throwback. If your launching in a new market, show your product in the new location. The possibilities are endless! 🌎! 🌎

Who are you working for? Who are your clients? 🤔

This week in the "Market Your Business" Series, we encourage you to take 5-10 minutes and write down your ideal customer. Think of everything from their average age, income, likes, dislikes and most importantly, their needs.

Then ask yourself... "How can I solve their problems with my products or services?"

Once you have that sorted out, you'll be able to think like your customer and ultimately write and create to capture their attention and bring them to know and love you and your business. 💞

Give this a go and let us know some of the "Ah ha!" moments you have while doing this!

How do you put this into practice? Here are a few tips
1. Blog about a project from start to finish on how you helped a client achieve their goals.
2. Ask for feedback from a client and then implement their ideas into your business.
3. Ask for reviews and put them on your website!
4. Take before and after photos of a project you're working on and share the results.

Want to make sure your images are all-inclusive on Instagram? One way to do this is by adding alt text to your images. Alt text on Instagram is a description of the image content.
Why is this important? It allows screen readers to describe your photos to blind and visually impaired users.
How do you write your alt text? Just before sharing, click on "advanced settings" and click "write alt text".
Instagram will create alt text if you don't write it, but it may be inaccurate. It truly helps a lot, especially if your image and caption do not match. Give it a try, you might be missing out on followers and friends!

To add alt text on your Instagram photos, use the "Advanced Settings" link after you choose a filter when creating a post.
