We are pleased to announce the recent acquisition of National Environmental, Inc. by Midwest Environmental Services, Inc.. This went into effective officially on Wednesday, November 10, 2021.

NEI will continue to operate and do business as NEI, all the while being a Midwest Environmental Services, Inc. Company. This means you can continue to expect the same great service we have provided, but now with additional capacity, resources, and services.

Midwest has long aspired to have an Indianapolis, IN presence and service capabilities. With a corporate mission to become the dominant, go-to service provider in the Indianapolis/Cincinnati/Louisville triangle.

Position Description
Job Title: Business Services Manager

Company Overview
NEI is a full-service environmental waste management company. We provide solutions to meet our customers' environmental, water and energy needs using innovative problem solving, along with value-added products and services.

Summary
We are hiring a Business Services Manager to manage all aspects of customer service, provide administrative and bookkeeping assistance to the CFO, manage human resource matters, and manage the NEI office. To be successful in this position, an individual will need experience working with computers; be able to communicate effectively and calmly with customers to organize their requests & assure their needs are met; and have experience with office management. Experience with QuickBooks or similar financial management system would be helpful. This individual must be detail-oriented and proficient in time management. This position will be based out of NEI’s office in Greenfield, Indiana.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Manage resolution of customer inquiries
• Maintain a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries
• Communicate with customers through various channels including phone and email
• Have an in depth understanding of NEI services in order to manage resolution of customer inquiries
• Keep record of customer interactions, transactions, comments and complaints
• Maintain NEI contact database
• Oversee records management
• Coordinate all office management matters
• Provide administrative and bookkeeping support to the CFO
• Manage human resource matters including payroll, benefit structure, paid time off, employee policies and procedures handbook, recruitment, and assure all compliance requirements are met
• Manage and maintain filing systems
• Answer incoming calls
• Process incoming and outgoing mail & maintain multiple email in boxes
• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment but always adhering to proper regulations while never agreeing to compromise the integrity of yourself or NEI
• Collaborate with rest of NEI team to develop and adhere to standard operating procedures and make suggestions for modifications in a commitment to continuous improvement programs
• Follow office workflow procedures to ensure maximum efficiency

Requirements
• High school diploma or college degree
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to clearly communicate both orally and in writing
• Organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Careful attention to detail is a must
• Ability to stay calm
• Experience working with customer support
• Experience in QuickBooks or similar financial system preferred
• Experience in human resource support
• Experience in office management
• Reliable with patience and professionalism
• Maintain a high level of integrity
• Must be good at solving problems

We are hiring a Business Development Manager who will be responsible for managing sales activities of organization, focusing on brand building strategies and identification of potential market segments. This individual will also be responsible for revenue generation through new account development and key account management. This position will be based out of NEI’s office in Greenfield, Indiana.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Must be knowledgeable about all areas of the environmental service industry, especially the service segments NEI provides to its customers
• Effectively present NEI’s scope of service to prospects
• Develops and implements strategic marketing plans to accommodate corporate goals
• Leads sales activities with the technical support from other key members of the NEI team
• Represents the company at trade shows, environmental organizations and other associated sources for business interaction to promote products and services
• Develops and presents business proposals to key customers and prospects
• Meets with key customers and prospects, maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals
• Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed customer base expansion
• Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the industry and related markets with respect to market development, projects, competitive activity and customers
• Achieves sales goals; overcomes objections with persuasion and persistence; initiates new contacts; maintains customer satisfaction; maintains records and promptly submits information

Dan Okrasinski (pictured above) joins NEI as the Business Development Manager with over 13 years sales experience. Dan has jumped in quickly bringing a fresh set of creative sales strategies. He adds a lot of energy and enthusiasm to the NEI Team.

We are also pleased to welcome Ken Raymond (pictured below) to the NEI Team. Ken comes to us with a number of years experience as a recovery driver. After starting a career in IT, Ken decided to switch to a career in transportation and logistics. Ken joins NEI as a Transportation and Field Specialist.
