Do you spend forever going back and forth about a single post? If so, don’t! Just post it! If it’s terrible, learn from your mistake. If it’s great, there you go!

We unfortunately waste a lot of time on what should be fairly easy decisions. Time is our most valuable asset! Don’t waste it!

I have had so many people asking what I actually do. It’s really pretty simple. I work with businesses to help increase their reach and grow their brand. From social media to special events, and a lot of things in between, I can help businesses grow.

I have over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and business operations. I understand how valuable time is to business owners.

There is no business as time consuming as the restaurant business, and I did it for 9 years. I understand the need for marketing, but not having the time to focus on it. That’s what I’m here for! To allow you to run your business, while I bring the business to you.

If you have questions about my services, please reach out to me! I would love the opportunity to share what I do in detail with you!

As a business owner, time management can become a daunting task. You start your day with the best intentions of being productive, then BAM, someone calls in sick, or you have a client dealing with a major issue that needs attention. Before you know it, your day is gone, and nothing you wanted to accomplish got done.

Here is a list of tips to help make time management a bit more manageable:

Plan - I like to plan my entire week out on Sunday. From meal planning for my family, to project planning for my clients, I know what I’m facing, and how much time each task requires. I use an actual paper planner, (yes, I’m still old school), but whatever type of planner or app you’re most comfortable with and most likely to use, use it!

Limit Distractions - This is so important! Turn your phone to do not disturb, lock your door, get to work early. Whatever it takes, have a set amount of time per day that you set aside to focus without distractions.

Single-Task - Trying to multi-task will get you nowhere, and likely leave you frustrated and unproductive. Our brains aren’t made to do 6 things at one time. Focus on the task at hand, finish it and move on!

Check It Off - This is my favorite step! When a task is complete, physically check it off of your planner. There is nothing more rewarding than accomplishing a task, so make a deal of it!

Over the last year, while trying to decide what career path I was going to take after the restaurant sold, my ultimate goal was to be in a position where I could help others.

During my time as a restaurant owner, my favorite part of it was serving others. Whether I was bringing a plate to a table, preparing food in the kitchen, or helping a team member solve a problem, I was constantly and enthusiastically helping others.

If you are in business just to “make money”, you might want to reevaluate your purpose. Each and every business should have a purpose of community help in some way or form. That’s what life is about, serving a purpose to help empower and improve the lives of those around us.

I would love to help you! DM me to help you help others!

If you are going for quantity over quality, you are doing it wrong. There are 3 questions to ask yourself when creating content:

1. Is this content of value to my customer?
2. Will this content begin a conversation?
3. Will I speak to my target audience?

If the answer to any of these questions is no, you need to rethink what you are doing. Meaningful content is much more important than having a set number of posts per day.

One of the most common mistakes when beginning social media marketing is not having attainable and quantifiable goals, a plan and consistency.

First, create a plan. It can be as simple or as detailed as you want it to be. Make sure there is room for change. Plans change as needs change. A small plan is all you need to get started.

Second, set attainable and quantifiable goals. Attainable because if never met, they will seem impossible, and quantifiable so you can measure them.

Last, stay consistent! This is one of the hardest parts, but the most productive. You have to stay consistent to see true and impactful results. Inconsistency is the number one killer of businesses.

Oh the mistakes I have made!

As a former restaurant owner, I made mistakes daily. Some more consequential than others. Often times, I felt like a failure, and wanted to quit. Quitting wasn’t an option. I was raised to pick my head up, and keep grinding, and so I did. I also had obligations to both my family and financial institutions. I had to keep fighting.

It’s ok to make mistakes. That’s how we learn and grow. If we quit every time we did something wrong, we would never accomplish anything.

Keep grinding. Learn from your mistakes. Move on.
