I have a big idea, Greenville... and I need 15 local businesses to help me bring it to life.
For the past few weeks, my mind has been spinning with a project that is incredibly close to my heart.
My husband is currently in treatment fighting Multiple Myeloma.
Watching him battle this rare blood cancer has shown me just how critical early detection and community support truly are. I wanted to channel my energy into something meaningful, and an idea hit me.
I am designing custom, professional burgundy ribbon decals to place on mirrors and windows in high-traffic spots across town.
Why mirrors?
Because true awareness starts with reflection.
We look into mirrors every single day to check our hair, our clothes, or our makeup. I want to use that exact moment of looking at our outer appearance to disrupt our vanity routines and force a deeper reflection on what is happening inside.
The decal will look someone right in the eyes and ask a powerful question:
"You look good. Now how do you feel?"
Multiple Myeloma is a hidden cancer that easily masks itself as ordinary fatigue or back pain. By using these mirrors to reflect, we are reminding people to stop, look deeper, and check on their internal health.
Right now, this is just a vision on paper—but I am ready to make it a reality. To get this started, I am looking for my first 15 official host businesses.
The Ask: I need 15 local shops, salons, boutiques, fitness centers, or cafes willing to donate a small space on a main mirror or front window to reflect this vital message.
The Cost: Absolutely zero. Printing is being funded by local sponsors and backed by expert medical insight.
The Partnership: We are teaming up with Community Edge Publications so that when customers snap a mirror selfie and tag them, your business gets massive local exposure for standing with cancer fighters.
