Most people think Brand Strategy is just a conversation where we talk through your business.

It’s not.

Before we ever get on a call, I’ve spent hours researching your competitors, analyzing your market, and mapping out where the positioning opportunities actually are.

I’m looking at things like: What colors and fonts are saturating your industry? What messaging patterns keep showing up? Where are the gaps you could own? What’s your competition doing that’s working (and what’s not)?

By the time we talk, I’ve already done the heavy lifting. The research fuels the strategy. So instead of guessing or starting from scratch, we’re building your positioning on real data—tailored to your business, where you are, and where you’re trying to go.

I have 4 Brand Strategy spots open this quarter. If you’ve been thinking about it, now’s the time.

Hi, I’m Shannon, your brand’s slightly overinvested older sister.
The one who can’t NOT notice your clunky service page, but also wants you to log off before dinner.

I started Sunday Muse because I was tired of branding that looked good on Pinterest but fell apart in practice.

Now I help founders clean up the backend of their brand—the strategy, the structure, the message—so the outside finally matches what they’ve actually built.

If your brand’s still pretending it’s 2022…let’s catch it up.

You know how sometimes your closet is full but you still feel like you have nothing to wear?

Your brand can feel like that too.

✨ The Brand Closet Cleanout is your free guided brand audit—designed to help you take stock, figure out what still fits (and what doesn’t), and what needs to be tailored to match who you are now.

It’s like pulling every sweater you own onto your bed, trying things on, tossing what doesn’t serve you, and walking away with a plan.

If your brand feels... a little tight in the shoulders lately 👀—this is your sign to give it a once-over.

Inside, you’ll:
→ audit your visuals, voice, and brand feel
→ get clear on what’s working right now
→ make decisions that support where you’re headed
→ walk away with your next move

Pair it with a glass of wine or a Friday afternoon iced latte and call it a CEO date.

As a designer who leads with strategy AND soul, I work with founders who want more than just a pretty logo.

They want brands that feel aligned and websites that actually work.

These are just a few of my favorite projects—ones that brought clarity, confidence, and connection to the people behind them.

If you’re craving a brand that finally fits—and you can picture your business showing up like this—let’s chat.

AI can write your posts but it can’t fix your positioning.

Go back and look at my last post- Anna repositioned from a “lovely” clientele to a “luxury” clientele and her contract price doubled.

But here’s what happened next: we had to make sure her design matched her new positioning.

Because even the clearest positioning falls flat if your visual brand doesn’t back it up. Anna could talk luxury all day, but if her website still looked “lovely”, potential clients would feel the disconnect immediately.

Your design either amplify your positioning or it undermines it. There’s no neutral.

when someone lands on your site after repositioning, they should instantly think “yes this person gets my world.” The colors, layout, typography… Everything should reinforce the message. You’ve worked so hard to clarify.

That’s the difference between repositioning that works and repositioning that gets lost in transaction.

Good design doesn’t just make you look professional, it makes your positioning feel worth paying for.

If you’ve done the positioning work and the design that actually amplify it, Design Intensives are open for early 2026.

A few years ago, during my brand audit phase, I noticed something that honestly broke my heart.

Established business owners with incredible skills kept asking me the same thing: “Can you just make my website prettier?”

Here’s what was really happening behind the scenes…

They were focused on fonts and colors while their messaging remained completely unclear. Their ideal clients couldn’t figure out what they actually offered or why it mattered. Beautiful design sitting on top of confusing copy.

And it was costing them serious money.

I’d seen this pattern during my wedding planning days – watching couples pass on incredibly talented vendors because their websites left them more confused than convinced. Amazing photographers with stunning portfolios, but homepages that made no sense.

When I started explaining purchasing psychology to my audit clients – how people actually make buying decisions, why clear messaging matters more than pretty graphics – they were mind-blown. “I never knew any of this existed,” they’d tell me.

That’s when I realized I was solving the wrong problem.

So I created comprehensive brand strategy that tackles the real foundation: who you’re serving, how they make decisions, why they should choose you. Once that’s solid, THEN you write the copy. And then, and only then, do we design around that strategy.

You cannot skip steps without missing opportunities.

Now my strategy clients understand this goes way deeper than aesthetics. It’s about creating a system that actually converts visitors into clients. Many realize their brand evolves with their business and stick around for ongoing support because they’ve experienced what strategic foundations can do.

If your website feels like an expensive business card that’s not making you money, let’s talk about fixing the foundation first.

(I actually dove deep into this whole ‘copy before design’ approach on a recent podcast with my copywriter friend Sam .copy and two other designers. We talked about why so many businesses get this backwards and how to fix it. If you want to listen in (it’s a short episode), I’ll drop the link in my stories!)

3pm. Laptop closed.

I’m walking out of my home office (which doubles as Emerson’s art studio) and either heading straight to find my 4-year-old for the biggest hug of my day, or jumping in the car to pick her up from Grandma’s house.

Either way? That hug is happening.

While I’m focused on afternoon snacks, art projects, and family dinner prep, my clients’ brands are still working. Inquiries flowing in. SEO letting them show up hard. The right clients, finding them exactly when they need to.

I build brands and websites that function without constant babysitting.

Because here’s what I know: if your brand can’t work while you live your life, something’s broken.

My evenings belong to my family. Playing outside, prepping dinner together, bedtime stories, and actually being present for the moments that matter.

This is what I want for my clients, too - brands that support the life they’re building, not the other way around.

If you’re ready to build something that works while you live, let’s talk.

“Sweet doesn’t cut it.”

That’s what Meghan told me when we started talking about her brand and website.

She’s a photographer who’s SO good at what she does. Shooting weddings every weekend, editing during the week, yoga on Thursdays, shuttling kids to practice, squeezing in grocery store runs between discovery calls.

Busy, successful, booked.

But here’s the thing - she’d gotten a taste of luxury clients and wanted MORE of them. The problem? Her brand looked exactly like every other photographer serving a “sweet” audience.

“Shannon, my brand and website look good, but they look like everyone else’s. I want to serve a luxury market. Sweet doesn’t cut it, and I need to stand out.”

Then came the part that made me smile: “I don’t want to do this myself. I don’t have TIME to do this. I don’t even WANT to do it.”

Finally. Someone who gets it.

Fast forward six months: Meghan’s booking luxury clients without them blinking an eye. She’s practically booked out with her dream clients. Making MORE money, working LESS.

Here’s what I realized: Your brand should be giving you your time back.

You’re running a grown-up business in a brand that still needs hand-holding. What if your brand made decisions for you instead of creating more work?

That’s what I build at Sunday Muse. Brands & websites that carry the weight of what you’ve built so you can actually enjoy your nights and weekends.

You’ve been working too hard for this.
