There’s something about summer that makes families feel more like themselves. The kids are looser, the laughter comes easier, and the light? Unreal.

Everyone just shows up more relaxed and honestly, that’s when the magic happens.

I know what you’re thinking — but it’s so HOT. 😅 That’s actually one of the reasons why I schedule my sessions at sunrise or sunset — when the light is soft, the air is warm without being overwhelming, and everything just feels golden. The best of summer, none of the sweat.

Seeing a few new faces around here (+ I haven’t actually shared an updated portrait of myself in a while!) so let’s do this!

Hello everyone! My name is Nicole and I’m a newborn and family photographer serving Westchester & Fairfield County 💛

Below are 5 things you might not know about me!:
1) I’m from Panama City, Panama (same country that brought you Mariano Rivera - Yankees hall of famer)
2) I’m really tall.. like almost-6-ft tall!
3) I’m a mom myself as well; I have 2 boys currently 9 & 5.
4) My boys are really into baseball and therefore now I’m really into baseball as well 😅 we are Mets fans and you can find us at the stadium more times than I’d like to admit ⚾️
5) It’s going to be 9 years this month since we moved as a family to the US. We first lived in Boston, then Miami and now NY.

Most importantly, I love capturing families with their little ones. Making them laugh, witnessing how they cuddle with mom, how they play with dad. It’s been such a beautiful journey and I can’t wait for continue serving you 💛📸. And yes, the monkey always comes with me 🐵.

There’s something about a sunrise session that just hits different ✨

The world is still quiet. The light is soft and golden. And for that little stretch of time, the beach belongs entirely to you.

This mama, her husband, and their sweet girl just were - no distractions, no rush, just them soaking in this season before their family of three becomes four.

This was taken at our home workshop down in Palm Beach, and it honestly has me counting down the days to summer. I cannot wait to bring that same magic to the shores of Westchester and Fairfield County! Think Rye Beach, Tod’s Point, and Sherwood Island at golden hour with your people.. just so dreamy!

Back in December, I found via IG an incredible photographer. One that photographed families seamlessly, one that was FUN, one that used color in a beautiful way, one that priotized connection over perfection.

I was so happy with my algorithm because I finally found someone that is doing exactly what I want to do with my art.

I hit follow wanting to find ways to learn more from her and to my surprise, this talented photographer was about to launch an in-person workshop down in Palm Beach, FL. My heart and soul couldn’t believe this beautiful coincidence.

Telling you I did everything to make sure I got a spot in this workshop is not enough! I called my husband right away, check if he was planning to be home that week so he could stay with our boys, prep for the application, checked flights, everything.

To make the story short, I got a spot and that workshop was this past week. I am still processing all the things I learned from .

Feeling SO GRATEFUL for everything, for Mel, her incredible team and for all my fellow photographers from all over the US that attended the workshop 🫰🏼.

Some sessions stay with you long after you pack up your camera.

The moment I walked in, I could feel the love. Mom sang to sweet baby girl, while dad looked at mom and baby with so much love, I could almost literally cry.

Witnessing moments like this is one of the best perks of my job.. I get a front row seat to the most beautiful, intimate moments a family will ever share. And then I get to bottle them up forever in photos.

There’s something so special about those first days with your baby 🤍. Everything feels softer, slower… full of love in the quietest, sweetest ways.

This session was exactly that: calm, gentle and so full of connection. A little baby girl who was an absolute dream, and parents who moved through it all with so much ease and love 🫶🏻.

This little guy here? Absolutely made my day! One of my favorite things about photographing families is getting to actually know the kids… their humor, their quirks, the way their face lights up when they talk about something they love.

Whether they’re 2 or 12, every kid has a whole world inside them, and my job is just to bring it out through the lens. This session was proof of exactly that 📸

Because you don’t really need a birthday, a milestone or any particular reason for wanting to capture your family as it is right now. Spring is busy, but trust me when I say, your future self will be so happy you took a few minutes to create lasting memories with and for your family 📸.

I’ve always said, spring is my favorite season, there so much to celebrate and so much meaning behind it! I particularly love when the cherry blossoms are in bloom; the white and pink flowers make the most stunning backdrop for your family to shine.
