Town Planner Corporate Names John Martin as 2026 Ron Miller Publisher of the Year
Richfield, Ohio — March 6, 2026 — Town Planner Corporate, headquartered in Richfield, Ohio proudly announced that John Martin has been named the 2026 Ron Miller Publisher of the Year, one of the organization’s most meaningful and prestigious honors.
The award is named in memory of Ron Miller, a beloved leader within the Town Planner network, known for his commitment to helping publishers succeed. Ron was widely respected for the time he gave to others—often calling publishers simply to check in, learning about their businesses, celebrating their successes, and offering guidance when challenges arose. His dedication to supporting the network and offering guidance left a lasting legacy within the organization.
Each year, the Ron Miller Publisher of the Year Award is selected through peer nominations, reflecting the same spirit of community and mutual support that Miller championed throughout his career. “Ron believed deeply in this network and in the success of every publisher,” said Rick Martin, Director of Franchise Development for Town Planner. “He loved connecting with publishers, sharing his knowledge, and genuinely cared about what was happening in people’s lives—both professionally and personally. There’s no better recognition than being honored by your peers, and that’s exactly how Ron would have wanted this award to be decided.”
This year’s honoree, John Martin, has long exemplified the spirit and values that defined Ron Miller’s legacy. Consistently nominated by his fellow publishers, John is known throughout the Town Planner network for his willingness to share knowledge, his willingness to help other grow and succeed, and contribute to the success of the entire group.
John serves on the Town Planner Advisory Board, contributes to their initiatives, and is a regular presence at Town Planner conferences. He frequently volunteers to lead panels and participates in discussions where he openly shares insights about what works in his markets, what challenges he has faced, and strategies that may help others grow their business.
“John always makes time to help other publishers,” added Rick Martin. “He’s a mentor, a contributor, and someone who truly believes that when one publisher succeeds, the entire network benefits. He embodies the way Ron approached his business – by giving back, sharing knowledge, and helping others find success.”
Because of his ongoing leadership, mentorship, and commitment to supporting fellow publishers, John Martin was selected as the 2026 Ron Miller Publisher of the Year.
