What’s up with Staples in Greer and the UPS stores in Greenville? And Kohls and others. They are doing the same thing.
Their staff are serving Amazon returns and Party Time balloons all while customers wait in line to check out with their STAPLES merch or wait to ship their UPS packages or buy their Kohls stuff.
Staff were hustling for sure and get it all done. The store staff are all working hard , were friendly and as quick as that
Could be….but why help Amazon?
If I were the CEO of Staples or a UPS store, or
Kohls I am thinking we wouldn’t take Amazon returns.
If I did I’d put it in the back corner where you have to walk past all Staples -Kohls, all
our merch and I’d serve OUR customers first. Not serve them at the front door, not give them my best staff member or priority. I’d serve my Staples / UPS /Kohls customers first and fast. Amazon would wait. Am I missing something??! Please educate me. Where are my MBA people? What’s the strategy of helping a monster squash you and sap your staff’s time?
