🪭✨THIS SATURDAY, the Waller Hall Research team is fanning out across Wyoming because one Pride stop just isn’t enough!

On June 13, we’re popping up in Torrington, Cheyenne, Casper, Rock Springs, and Laramie (yes… all on the same day because we have energy like that!)

So if you see us, come say hi, grab some buttons, and stay for a chat. We’re always down for a good conversation… it’s kinda our specialty 😉

Wyoming, we’re ready for you, hope you’re ready for us 💕

Recent changes in how public health is funded mean that Wyoming is navigating a major shift, specifically, a $40 million reduction in federal health grants that previously supported rural health disparities and mental health services. This creates a real risk: if we don't collect our own data, decisions about our clinics and tribal health infrastructure will be made by folks in distant offices who rely on "national averages" that don't reflect life in the Great Plains or the Wind River Reservation.

Waller Hall Research is stepping in to ensure our home stays in the driver’s seat. We are a local team gathering "Stakeholder Intelligence", the real-world stories of how far you drive for a check-up, where the cell service drops out when you need it most, and how our local care chains actually function. Your expertise as a resident is the most powerful tool we have to keep our services grounded in our actual reality, ensuring Wyoming’s voice isn't drowned out by metropolitan control.

When we implement local research, we aren't just filling a report; we are operationalizing the self-reliance our state is known for.

What is one specific challenge you face when seeking healthcare in your part of Wyoming that you think decision-makers in "big-city" offices completely overlook?

The housing conversation in Wyoming has reached a boiling point, and Thermopolis is right at the center of it. Recent reports show a significant drop in Airbnb bookings, sparking a heated debate across our state.

For many in Lander and Sheridan, this plunge is a relief. They’ve seen single-wide trailers listed for nearly $200,000 and horror stories of long-term rentals being replaced by short-term stays. For them, a cooling Airbnb market might finally mean a seat at the table for local workers who have been priced out.

However, others see a warning. Short-term rentals drive the tourism dollars that keep our local shops and restaurants thriving. At Waller Hall Research, we believe every perspective is vital. Whether you’re a property owner, a frustrated renter, or a local business leader, your experience helps us understand the true why behind Wyoming's shifting market.

As of 2026, Wyoming leads the nation in "healthcare deserts," with a growing number of residents living in areas with minimal access to primary care. For many of our neighbors, especially in places like Crook County, accessing emergency services, a specialist, or even a basic pharmacy frequently requires driving over 30 miles each way.

By sharing your perspective, you are ensuring Wyoming's rural health needs are no longer "forgotten" by planners. Your voice is the mechanism that turns raw opinion into real community impact. We value your time and expertise, and we provide compensation as a tangible thank you for your contributions to our studies.

You don’t need a fancy term to know when your "outfit" isn't running right. Whether it's a locked-up back or "brain fog" after a long week, staying operational is what matters.

At Waller Hall Research, we skip the jargon to help you keep the whole picture in balance.

Top-to-Bottom Tips:

The "Farmer’s Back": Constant cab vibration is a system killer. A 2-minute decompression stretch at the end of the day keeps your best asset in the driver’s seat.
Respiratory Grit: Dust and dander aren't just "part of the job." Simple ventilation keeps your lungs clear and your output high.
Brain Fog vs. Burnout: It’s not always "just age." High-stress seasons tax your system. Recognizing the difference is how you protect your legacy.

Independence means being prepared. We provide the hard facts so you can keep running your own show—no matter what the season brings.

What’s one "hitch" slowing you down lately? Let’s talk straight-talk solutions below. 👇

Did you know Wyoming is home to half of the West’s 100-year-old dude ranches? From the Triangle X to Eatons’, our state was built on folks calling the shots and staying independent.

But Wyoming isn’t a museum—it’s a living operation. We’re looking for "Modern Explorers" (the ranchers, hands, and locals doing the work today) to help us get the whole picture of how our state is actually changing.

At Waller Hall Research, we want the straight talk, not the version outsiders see on TV.

The Challenge:
What’s one thing outsiders always get wrong about your corner of Wyoming?

Before modern clinics, Wyoming had the Bighorn Medicine Wheel. It wasn’t just a site, it was a high-functioning medical "CPU."

The Original Integrated System:
Indigenous nations (the Salish, Blackfeet, and Crow) operated a system where health had no "departments." Physical, mental, and spiritual wellness were one single, efficient value chain.

The Tech Stack:
They used Ethnobotany to maintain peak human output:
🌿 Sage: For antimicrobial & psychological resets.
🌲 Cedar: For respiratory health & purification.
🌾 Sweetgrass: To restore the spirit after the trail.
🍂 To***co: To anchor intention and focus.

Why it matters now:
This was an absolute form of running your own outfit. It was a health model powered by the landscape, not a distant bureaucracy.

At Waller Hall Research, we study these patterns to help Wyoming reclaim that same level of independence today.

In a state as rugged as ours, what do you think this ancient "integrated" approach was trying to achieve for individual freedom?
