Since 1981, Food Bank for the Heartland has provided food to children, families, seniors, and veterans in 93 counties (77 in Nebraska and 16 in western Iowa) with a goal of eliminating hunger and serving people with respect, integrity and urgency.

It was our honor to collaborate with them on a donor wall at their new facility, recognizing the patrons and community partners who support the food bank’s mission. This was one of the more intricate walls we've worked on in a while — and you know we love a challenge! For the football locker room at the Northwestern College, Iowa Den Hartog Athletic Complex, Latitude designed end-cap graphics for the long rows of lockers. The goal was to celebrate Raider athletics without showcasing individual athletes, which would need to be switched out frequently. Northwestern provided stunning images, and then we applied a red monochrome filter with layered geographical elements to keep the focus on energy and team identity.

Sneak peek: New Food Bank for the Heartland donor recognition wall!

We collaborated with Food Bank for the Heartland to transform their lobby into a glowing testament to the organization’s community support. By blending textures and shapes with existing elements throughout the building, the display feels like it's always been there. And with the ability to expand the modular design and add donor names as needed, it always will be!
