Of course our “yes day” included a community event 🙃

We got to hang out at the fire station this afternoon to celebrate FIFTY YEARS in pleasant township.

✅bounced in the bounce house
✅drank some delicious McDave’s lemonade
✅pet Maverick (Franklin County Sheriffs Office pup)
✅practiced putting out a fire with a real fire hose
✅ate cupcakes / cake
✅got a goodie bag with all things firefighter related
✅got our first Metro Park Passport Book Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park (didn’t even know this was a thing, maybe I’ve been living under a rock 🤷🏻‍♀️)

You guys know how to throw a celebration. 🥳

So glad the rain held out!

We went to Otherworld today as part of “yes day”.

When my daughter asked to go here, she asked to go to “another world”. Funny enough, this really does feel like another world…it’s in an abandoned shopping center, with nothing else around.

We could spend hours here though, and quite frankly I feel like we have to in order to justify the price (lol). Definitely not something we do often, but worth it for special occasions.
