I get restless if I'm not making something new. There's always a camera in my hand for a reason, and this photography workshop def scratched that itch!!

Scottie Mae Photography took a small group of us out to Perdido Beach to practice, and Lo Eaton Photo and her fam were our models for the day. I'll admit it, I was nervous walking in. Lauren is an incredible photographer herself, so there's a specific kind of pressure that comes with shooting for someone who knows exactly what a good photo looks like.

Then it started raining. lollll.

We just kept shooting anyway, and some of my favorite images I have ever taken came out of it. Half the fun of this job is figuring it out in real time instead of waiting for perfect conditions.

I'm already thinking about how these new skills show up for my clients and in the wedding photography space. Getting better at one thing always seems to sharpen everything else I do. 💜
