Hi Everyone! We would like to get everyone their shirts as soon as possible!! If you have commented that you want a shirt, you have been sent a message with details. We still have several people who have not responded to the messages. We will be ending this next week so that we can get all the profits to the family as soon as possible. If anyone needs additional time to get payments in please reach out to me so we can discuss options. Thank you!!
Our community has a girl Katelynn Sims who was diagnosed with Leukemia just weeks after graduating high school in Mabank. She's currently in the hospital receiving Chemo and has been there almost a month now. She does not get to come home at all because of how weak it makes her immune system. There are so many more details to her journey that you can read on her page. She's staying strong and doing so well with all of this. However she needs to know how much our community loves her and sweet family.
With that being said her parents Amanda and Buddy Sims have been with her the whole time while her sisters are at home trying their best to keep things going including sending her younger sister back to school next week.
If you know me, you know how deeply this touches my soul. Katelynn and her sister Samantha are friends with my son who went through this exact same traumatic journey 5 years ago.
So I reached out and asked them if there was anything I could do to help and Amanda asked if I could create a shirt for her. This is what they have picked and I need the help of our community to come together and show this family how strong MABANK is for our families!!!
We will have a donation box set up in our store for those that would like to donate to the family. The shirts will be for sale to help raise money. They do have a go-fund me which is great but we all know that platform charges for every donation so that is not really my favorite way to give money to a family in need. They are also have support bracelets available for all donations.
Most of all Katelynn could use all of our prayers every single day.
