One of the joys of running a print shop is not only bringing pieces to life, but also the relationships you build along the way. Running a print shop can be a pretty lonesome thing at times, so meeting genuine people who are creating something that means the world to them is just as special.

nicholasjnes came to us in the summer of 2022 while he was still in college, completely head over heels for trovail ®. He entrusted us with his brand when we were still relatively new to the contracting side of the business, and he trusted us with his pride and joy.

That first drop we did together is still one of my favorite pieces we’ve ever produced. From there, we just clicked. Some projects were simple, some were incredibly challenging, but through it all, Nick always knew what we were capable of and gave us the freedom and trust to bring his ideas to life.

That trust and mutual respect is exactly what we hope to build with everyone who walks through our doors. But with Nick, it became more than just a client relationship—he became a dear friend.

This was the final piece we produced for Trovail this past summer. Whatever comes next, I’m wishing you nothing but the best, Nick.

This summer, the inquiry we’d been anticipating since we started finally arrived… and we delivered.

PUFF PRINT!

While puff printing is still a rare request for us, this client gave us a full month to bring their vision to life — giving us plenty of time for trial, error, testing, and perfecting the process.
And now? We’re ready for all the PUFF jobs that come our way.
