Wow, what an incredible turn-out for the 2026 Dick Weinle Memorial Race at Edgewater Sports Park yesterday! It was so good to see everyone that was racing and spectating, Dick would have been happy to see it all take place! It was quite the long day in the heat, but well worth the efforts! Last evening's 4th Annual Night of Fire at Edgewater Sports Park did not disappoint! It was a HOT event many times over! The wheelstanders and jet cars definitely stole the show - the bracket racers were a bit small in number but put some of the best racing seen in a while! It was so good to see all the smile of folks having a great time, especially the wide-eye grins of the kiddos! Here is the link to photo from the evening, enjoy!

FINALLY the weather held out to photograph an UMTR South stick shift race at Darana Raceway- Xenia,Ohio (Kil-Kare). With the last several races cancelled due to weather - there was high hopes of getting this race in. Unfortunately the rain showed as well and the race cancelled at quarter finals. (At least the race lasted that long LOL!) Good to see everyone on track, hopefully the next race will be dry and a whole lot cooler. Had a great day photographing the Corner-Carver action at Edgewater Sports Park. Some great driving at both the Autocross and the Rallycross (maybe next time there will be less dust and I can shoot more of the Rallycross). If you have ever wanted to give these a try, you HAVE to sign-up for the August events. The Autocross Fun Class is a low-stress way to give it a shot (and if you get hooked, don't blame me!)
