There is a big difference between having social media and having a social media strategy.

Posting three times a week does not automatically mean you are marketing your business. A strategic approach starts with a much better question:

📌 What do I need my audience to know, believe, or do?

That question changes everything.

Your social media should support your larger business goals. Your content should have a purpose. Your messaging should speak to the people you actually want to reach. And your results should be measured so you know what is working and what needs to change.

Twenty-five years later, we remember.

On September 11, 2001, our nation was changed forever. We remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the service members who answered the call in the years that followed.

As a military spouse, the meaning of September 11 is deeply personal to the founder of Big Tomato Marketing. It is a reminder of the courage, sacrifice, and service that so many families have carried for the past 25 years.

Today, we honor them.

We remember.
We serve.
We will never forget.

Some moments are bigger than business.

John C. Felder Day was one of those moments for our family.

As the founder of Big Tomato Marketing, I spend a lot of time behind the scenes helping organizations tell their stories. But this time, I had the privilege of simply being present and watching my family experience something incredibly meaningful.

Seeing my family celebrate John C. Felder’s legacy, his hometown, and the vision for the future was a reminder that legacy is not just about what we accomplish. It is about what we pass forward.

The event was filled with history, community, family, and hope for what comes next. And while there is so much more to the story, I am grateful that the Richmond Observer captured the significance of the day and the Foundation’s vision for the future.

I am incredibly proud of the work being done through the John C. Felder Foundation, and even more grateful that my family got to be part of this special day.

History. Community. Legacy.
