I only got to stay for 5 seconds, but this was so cool!!!!!!!! Thank you and for such an incredible opportunity to create! It’s because of Southeastern’s Art Programs that I am where I am today professionally. I’m so grateful for all of the things I learned in college, and for the opportunity to showcase the talents that God has blessed me with. Hope this becomes an annual exhibit!

Built in the 1930s, the Toggery Shop features basket-weaved brickwork against traditionally laid brickwork on the second story.

The neon sign is distinctly art deco. Neon signs were introduced to the United States in 1923 just as the art deco movement was beginning. The height and rounded edges of the sign are indicative of art deco styling.
