Got a business idea? Enter the 2026 PNW Big Sell! 💡

Are you ready to share your idea and compete for real funding?
The PNW Big Sell is Purdue Northwest’s annual pitch competition where students, alumni, and community members can submit a 6-minute video pitch for a chance to win up to $10,000 in seed funding!

Why you should enter:
✨ Top prize of $10,000
✨ Runner-up awards also available
✨ Pitch in front of experienced judges
✨ Get valuable feedback and exposure for your idea

Important Dates:
🗓 The two-minute video submission window will open on March 1 and close on March 22 at Noon CT.
📍 Final Pitch Event — May 2, 2026

Who can enter?
If you have a business or innovation idea, you’re encouraged to participate — whether you’re a student, alum, or community innovator! (Past Big Sell winners are not eligible this year.)

Jannice Newson received first place and $10,000 for her business, Lillian Augusta, a plant-based hair extension company. Newson co-founded Lillian Augusta with Nana Britwum with the goal of providing synthetic, biodegradable hair braid extensions for Black women that are comfortable and sustainable for the environment.

Meet our 2023 2nd place winner!

Luis Alvear took home second place and $3,000 for his startup, AtoB. The software platform seeks to allow automobile drivers and passengers to pair up in advance and split costs for carpooling opportunities if they are traveling to similar destinations. The predicted subsequent effects would include lower carbon emissions, reduced traffic congestion and reduced travel costs.
