Making an embroidery file isn’t as easy as clicking “convert” on the computer. Come with me to digitize a PDF logo into an embroidery file! If only it were this fast. 😅
There’s a lot of trial and error. You’ll see me click back and forth between the PDF image and the stitches tweaking the stitches as I go to get them just right. Then it’s time to do a test stitch, and tweak even more until I’m happy with the stitch-out. Digitizing my own designs is one of my favorite parts of Sweet Sew&Sew!

Did you know there’s only TEN weekends between now and Christmas?! Time to start thinking ahead! Custom gifts take time to bring your vision to life. I’m currently running a 2-3 week turnaround time from the time an order is placed.

These kitchen tea towels are some of my favorite things to make because I get to see family-treasured recipes being passed down in a loved one’s own handwriting. ❤️

Surprise Surprise! I’m still in business! 🤣

In order to keep up with the orders I’ve had over the last year or so as well as adjusting to being back to my first career of NICU bedside nursing, I haven’t been very active on Sweet Sew & Sew’s social media. My baby started kindergarten this year which means all 3 kids are in school full-time. Now that we’re finally in a bit of a groove with that and my PRN hospital work, I’ve got some more time for embroidery! I’ll be updating and refining the website over the next few weeks, and hopefully posting more!
