Pad of real butter in the center of my Artichoke
The Stalk/stem ugh!!!! Awesome you will love it! Most throw away....

Eat each leave and put on far side of fancy bowl- napkin in hand to wipe the butter and juices- good luck when the leaves get to the Artichoke HEART

Don’t be afraid of the thistle it won’t hurt you..... not very delicious but you can get super close not to miss out on that hearts meat - best wishes have fun! You’re never going to be the same person now!

You will smell it and it’s got about another 15 minutes to go, use your tongs- squeeze the Artichoke and if it’s easy to squish or it breaks away from the stock
Remove from heat and let cool
