Our very wonderful Jr. Fairboard President and 4-H queen has come up with a wonderful Idea. The Jr. Fairboard will be taking donations of gently used, but lots of life left in them, Show clothes. If you have any show clothes for species at our fair, including boots, we will accept the donations. We are going to have a shelf in our building during the fair that anyone can access. Any families that need clothes for their kids and were not able to get them or afford them, any kids that forgot to pack what they needed and didn't realize until show day, and the kids that grew 6 inches after they purchased show clothes in June. and didnt realize until show day! We will try and have all the emergencies and needs covered. If you have materials you no longer need that could be used by another exhibitor in our county, please drop off at the Jr. Fair building. We will be open on the 11th during Book Grading. We will sort items and have them on a shelf in our building during the fair. We will accept show shirts, jeans (blue and white), boots, shoes, belts, new socks, anything else related to livestock showing. We will also hope to stock basic necessity items often forgotten or lost during fair week. (Please bring already washed and ready to be worn by others).
