Mike Starr let a barbecue trailer sit in his yard for TWO YEARS. 👀

Not because he forgot about it. Because letting it go felt like admitting the plan didn’t work.

We met Mike at Military Creator Con (Military Creator Con) in Arlington and could. not. stop talking about his story — the good kind of oversharing where you end up hugging a near-stranger in a conference hallway.

Mike is the owner of Blazing Star Barbecue Blazing Star BBQ , a 21-year Air Force veteran who turned two decades of world travel into sauces, seasonings, and spices worth building a brand around. But the real lesson in this Community Bite isn’t about barbecue, it’s about knowing when to stop holding onto something out of fear instead of loyalty.
