The Swartz team had lunch today. In REAL LIFE.
Two years ago, we couldn’t have imagined not meeting up regularly, for coffee or beers, to catch up as a team and talk about new ideas. 🍻
Then COVID happened, and we did not meet for the entire 2020 year. 😱
With the emergency implementation of an PPE policy, a shortage of rubber gloves, and an ever-changing schedule. Between construction delays, Covid-related delays and cancellations it was hard to keep up with what was actually going to need to happen! The year was quite odd, almost eerie.
This photo represents a bit of that.
It was Downtown Washington DC, on a weekday morning. The sidewalks were empty. The streets were quiet. There was a long wait for couple of cars to pass, to show some motion in this photo. It was actually NICE that the newly renovated was EMPTY for photos, but it should have been bustling.
COVID year was a wild ride, but we have a lot to be thankful for!
Our team is still happy, healthy, “essential”, and we all got to be full-time entrepreneurs for another year!
If you haven’t seen us lately, you can see us on our website, we’re all there! ://www.swartz.company/about
