Okay, so my drone crashed!
Yes, I already got a new one, but let me tell you the story and why I'm so grateful for the people at Star Granite Interiors.
We were in the final production phase of a commercial project for Star Granite Interiors and were capturing drone footage at the quarry. As I was flying the drone, out of nowhere it went straight into one of the biggest trees out there. It got stuck so high up that there was no way I could get it down on my own.
Peyton did what he could to figure out where it was located and from there called Mr. Rick. They did everything they could to get the drone down. Well... it came down! Not exactly the way we wanted it to, but it definitely came down.
What stood out to me most wasn't the drone, though. During that time, Peyton and I had a great conversation about our personal relationships with Jesus Christ. It was one of those conversations that reminds you how important genuine relationships are.
I truly appreciate Peyton, Mr. Rick, and the entire team at Star Granite Interiors for going above and beyond to help me. While I'm thankful our company was able to replace the drone, I'm even more grateful for the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with great people.
So here's a little encouragement for today: Don't just focus on the work. Take time to build real relationships with the people around you. Sometimes the greatest blessings don't come from the project itself they come from the connections you make along the way.
A crashed drone can be replaced. A genuine relationship is priceless.
