Beautiful weekend at Braemar Golf Club at the Inaugural Minnesota Adaptive Open. Phenomenal golfers doing their best from all across the country. Categories of golfers competing included Seated Players, Intellectual Impairment, Coordination Impairment, Upper Limb Impairment, Lower Limb Impairment, Multiple Limb Amputee Impairment. A shout out to the Minnesota Golf Association, Braemar Golf Club, City of Edina the weekend and event was perfect! A special recognition to all players from across the country and all the Minnesota Adapted Golfers who made history today!! What a fantastic weekend at the inaugural Minnesota Adaptive Golf Open. Beautiful weather and great golfers from Minnesota and across the country. Thank you Braemar Golf Course , the City of Edina MN and the Minnesota Golf Association you rocked it out the park ! Lots of familiar faces at the MGA it was fun to see all you again some even 35 years ago when I worked with your organization as a consultant . Plus
10 years later on the Board of Directors representing as President of Hastings Country Club.
So many memories too many to count .

Moving forward, we are embarking on a new initiative to support adaptive golfers across the USA. This weekend, Braemar Golf Course will host the inaugural Minnesora Adaptive Golf Open. We invite you to attend which is free and witness the remarkable skills of these talented players. HHGR will also be in attendance. Please look for me on a scooter and feel free to introduce yourself. Good luck to USA Ryder Cup Team and the players this weekend in the Adaptive Open.

To all my friends as well as virtual friends that I am connected through Helping Hands Golf Resources another voice for the NonAble adults and children has been heard .

I know this family well and their voice is “ loud and clear “ as a message representing many others.

Individuals with disabilities are, in fact, no different from anyone else. We all possess unique characteristics, such as our smile, hair color, personality, and style. Ultimately, we are all Americans.
