The Eastern Bluebird is a small, vibrant songbird with bright blue plumage on its back and wings, a rusty red chest, and a white belly. Known for its gentle chirps and preference for open fields and woodland edges, it symbolizes happiness and renewal.

Bluebirds typically mate in early spring. The female builds a nest in tree cavities or birdhouses and lays 3–7 pale blue eggs. After about two weeks of incubation, the chicks hatch and are fed by both parents. Fledglings leave the nest at around 18–21 days old. Pairs may raise 2–3 broods per season.

Eastern Bluebirds are found throughout eastern North America, from southern Canada through the eastern U.S. and into parts of Mexico and Central America during winter. They thrive in meadows, pastures, orchards, and other open spaces with scattered trees.
