Dr. Ibrahim Bangura, presidential aspirant of Sierra Leone’s APC party, has pledged to promote women-centred leadership, national unity and economic transformation. Speaking in Makeni after Eid-Ul-Adha prayers, he thanked women in Bombali District for their strong support and described women as a key force in politics and national development.
Dr. Bangura said his vision focuses on empowering women and youths through quality education, leadership opportunities and job creation. He stressed the need to tackle youth unemployment and economic hardship while calling on Sierra Leoneans to reject tribalism, political hostility and division.
He concluded by encouraging peace, reconciliation and national unity, emphasizing that his campaign stands for one clear message: “Heal, Unite and Build.”
