I was at Kenna's track meet, chatting with a woman next to me. We were talking about business and she asked me about AI in advertising. Come to find out she works on the team who developing/developed ChatGPT. I think AI has a purpose, but as I told her, you can't teach emotion. Creative messaging without emotion doesn't work. Excellent article that points this out.

Creativity needs new and diverse voices—not a rehash of ideas we already used.

To tell a bit of history of this event, on April 22, 1970, U.S. Senator Ga***rd Nelson stated the first Earth Day. Nelson and numerous other people then saw the consequences of a massive oil leak in Santa Barbara, California, in January 1969. He was motivated by the student anti-war movement to combine the momentum of those protests with the increasing concern about air and water pollution. He ended up giving the idea of Earth Day as a response to environmental concerns and the climate crisis. And there is a fun fact behind the date April 22, a weekday that falls between Spring Break and Final Exams, which is actually to encourage the most student involvement in this event.
