I actually never thought I would say that combination of words. I never expected to get an opportunity to go to nail school. I never expected expected to live in Tennessee either. But there is something special about the 901, the community, and the opportunities available here.
I’ve loved getting my nails done and doing them since I was a kid. I started doing my own seriously about 8 years ago when I was in undergrad. I would keep doing them on and off across 5 cities/towns I lived in, and 4 jobs, some of which didn’t allow me to have my nails done. There was even a point that I sold my DIY items because of where I worked. I didn’t know then that I would go to nail school 2 years later. For a long time I thought I wouldn’t have that chance because I already had a Bachelor’s degree. I’ve learned that I contain multitudes and as corny as that is, it’s true. I can have more than one interest, passion, or dream; I don’t have to settle, I can keep learning and trying as much as my heart desires💛💅
