NorthWestern Energy will partially close an alley in Great Falls starting July 27 for several weeks to upgrade natural gas infrastructure and enhance system safety.

U.S. oil exports hit a record 5.73 million barrels per day in May, highlighting the vital role American producers play in global energy security. Strong domestic production and exports remain critical to a reliable, affordable energy supply.

U.S. crude oil output fell about 2% in May from a record in April, while exports hit a record high for the second-consecutive month, according to data published ​by the U.S. Energy Information Administration on Friday.

The Bureau of Land Management leased 63 parcels totaling 27,330 acres in Montana/Dakotas for $130,207,102 in total receipts during a quarterly oil and gas lease sale.
