With my finished mood board in hand, the next step in rebuilding the website I'm working on is to figure out what I want the site to actually look like. What will the layout be? How do I want it to function?
People looking at a restaurant website are looking for a few key things most of the time:
* Where is it?
* When is it open?
* What type of food do they serve?
* What is the price range of the menu items?
* Can I get takeout/delivery?
This particular restaurant doesn't offer reservations, so there's no need to include that. They do offer catering, though, so that's one more thing to be sure to include.
I like a pretty simple website because I think it makes everything easy for the use to find. I'll share a mockup of the site later this week, but for now, I'm sharing two links to sites that have a particular feature that I like. On both of these sites, you can access all of the content simply by scrolling. They also offer quicker navigation on the left-hand side with a clickable menu.
