Amanda McIntosh is a Las Vegas native who traded neon lights for the wide-open skies of Price nearly two decades ago, and honestly, she wouldn’t have it any other way. A proud small-town advocate with a big heart for community, Amanda has dedicated her life to su***de prevention, mental health awareness, and making sure people know they are never alone.
After losing her husband to su***de in 2014, Amanda turned unimaginable grief into purpose. Today, she serves as the Su***de Prevention Liaison for Four Corners Community Behavioral Health, supporting Carbon, Emery, and Grand counties through education, advocacy, coalition work, and community outreach and events. She also serves in leadership roles with su***de prevention efforts across Utah and volunteers extensively with the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention because she believes hope should exist in every zip code, but especially our rural ones.
At the center of Amanda’s world is her daughter, Abbigale, her greatest motivation and favorite road-trip companion. Together, they survive on good music, chaotic snack selections, bookstore wandering, Hamilton sing-alongs, and adventures with their dogs, Gemma Love and Ruby Jade. Amanda believes healing happens through connection, community, honest conversations, and occasionally a large Dr. Pepper or Redbull and a well-timed sense of humor.
