🤢 For Texans heading into summer travel, family vacations, camps, and community events, now is a good time to remember to wash your hands often, disinfect surfaces, and stay home if you're sick.
Health experts say norovirus, often called the "vomiting virus" or "stomach flu," is spreading across much of the United States. Symptoms can include sudden vomiting, diarrhea, nausea, stomach cramps, fever, and body aches.
While the biggest increases have been reported in parts of the Midwest and Northeast, experts say the virus is circulating nationwide and can spread quickly in places where people gather, including schools, workplaces, daycares, churches, and summer camps.
