First responders such as police, firefighters, paramedics, and emergency medical technicians meet and interact, primarily, in high stress situations. Though the varying agencies have different titles and job descriptions, all work together to calm chaos and bring order to people’s lives who are troubled with misfortune. This event is intended to enable emergency responders to develop camaraderie among peers and fellow first responders. This promotes the cohesion and teamwork necessary for mitigating emergency scenes as a team, thus increasing the likelihood of successful missions of preventing crime; saving lives and property; and providing quality pre-hospital medical care.
The party will be hosted by The Henderson Professional Firefighters Honor Guard, Inc. (HPFHG). The HPFHG is a non-profit organization whose mission is to honor the lives of fallen firefighters through ceremonial honors and monetary donations. All proceeds from the event will assist in the completion of this mission.
