Here's just another Appalachian struggling to deal with the heartbreak of Helene. I don't have a chainsaw or a way to bring clean water, but I want to offer what I have:
If you or someone you know lost their home, pet, friend during the storm, I would be happy to provide them a portrait, free of charge. While most of my portraits are in watercolor, I am also offering acrylic or oils, painted on the discs of fallen trees.
For those of you in the position to support this endeavor, you can sponsor a portrait by buying your own commissioned work, booking me for your wedding or business, or by purchasing a gift card for a family in need. While these help me cover the cost of materials and time, my services are available to any family who requests them. (It just might take a little while!) If you've already purchased a commission for the holidays, you have already sponsored a family!
