My godmother, known in our family as Nina Barbara Yanchar, gave me my first cookbook when I was 9 years old. Who would have thought I’d grow up to be a chef, lucky enough to cook at events like the Oscars, the US Open, LA Opera’s Gala Premiere, and many other exciting events? I love you Nina!

Hi All! I just got a little PT job at my favorite off-price store, Tuesday Morning. Here is an opportunity for you to save 20% off the already very low prices. Good Fri. 3/15-Sun. 3/17. Always check the Clearance Section first for up to 80% off! Write back and let me know what you found! Have fun!

Save 20% on your entire purchase of $50 or more March 15 - March 17!

In any retail environment you go to (grocery, department, or specialty store) remember to always start your visit by checking the clearance section first. It is usually located the furthest from the entrance. You may save up to 75% on day old bakery items (great for homemade croutons and bread crumbs!) to discounted items that have simply been on store shelves too long. Everything has a shelf life, but not everything has an expiration date! Happy Savings!

CHEAP BINDERS!!!
School is right around the corner. I needed some decent binders but didn't want to pay a ton of money. I needed 1.5"-2", ideally "D' ring binders with the view sleeve so I can ID with cover pages & spines. On Avery.com, 1.5" view binders were $15.19 EACH! With tax that came out to $16.55. I went to my local Salvation Army (Redondo Beach) and picked them up for a mere $1.99 each! Buying 4 (1.5") for $1.99 and 1 Universal economy (1/2") for $.99 (retail $5.83) = 5 view binders for $8.95 (no 9% tax either!). This would have cost me $72.58 retail. I paid about 12% of retail price. Lesson: Know your resources! If this helps you, LIKE my page! Please share....
