Duncan Sheik has sadly passed away at the age of 56

Sad news from the world of music and theatre. Singer-songwriter and composer Duncan Sheik has passed away at the age of 56. His family confirmed his death following a recent hospitalization.

Sheik will forever be remembered by many ’90s music fans for his beautiful 1996 hit “Barely Breathing,” while his remarkable career also took him to Broadway, where his work on Spring Awakening earned him Tony Awards and a Grammy.
