Our translator Nadia sat with me to proof all my subtitles and watched the Extended Cut of our Ukrainian Documentary. It was the first time she had really seen the graphic parts of the film as a whole.

She asked me, "Are you in therapy? I think you are going to need therapy after this experience for sure."

My reply, "Yes, I will need therapy from this edit for sure. I think I would rather dodge shrapnel and clean guts off the sidewalk than to have to drop in one more transition on this timeline."
