The text bots have been hitting my cell number hard lately. So annoying!

Also had a fraudster attempt to create a Wells Fargo online bank account using my name and social about a week ago. I’ve got screenshots of how it went down and will be posting about what I did to keep it from getting out of control.

I really enjoyed this conversation. The first 30 minutes speak to a very particular aspect of social media that seems to affect pre-teen girls the most.

As a business owner in tech I'm pro social media. I spend a large portion of my life in digital spaces and desire that these spaces enrich our lives not destroy us.

This criticism points to a very specific aspect of social media..

Social media is simultaneously a source for good and a source for bad in our culture. It behooves us to explore the ways in which it negatively effects ourselves and those around us and work towards fixing those things.

If you have pre-teen children, especially young girls, give this a listen and use a little caution when allowing kids to interact with these powerful platforms.

Installed some smooth tech today.

Samsung 55” Class Frame Series

Single “One Connect” cable delivers power and video. Makes for a wall tight fit and no having to mess around behind the TV to add/remove sources.

Colored bevel options around the outside of the TV add a nice touch.

Got some pretty cool tech in the mail a few days ago.

This is OpenDime... A Bitcoin “bearer token”. A physical means of exchanging digital value. Allows the exchange of Bitcoin like we do physical cash.

It’s a simple USB device that inserts into a computer like any other USB stick.

Simple setup... follow the instructions to load any amount of Bitcoin to the wallet on the device, give it to another as payment for anything of value just like cash.
