Here's some new creative you'll be seeing all over town later this week! Just finished up designing the 2002 Highland Jaycees Schweizerfest flyer and event schedule!

blockplanedesigns has been designing these postcards for a few years now and it's always a fun one to do! We designed the artwork around this year's theme "Red, White and Blue in 2022".

The Schweizerfest fest is only a month away, so start making plans to attend this weekend of family-friendly celebration up on the Square in Highland! Hope to see you there!

It's been a while since we've shared any new creative on our page! That doesn't mean we haven't been busy!

Here's a membership brochure we recently designed for the Farm Equipment Manufacturers Association. We used their existing logo colors and shape as design elements in the overall design. They'll use this brochure when they go to trade shows and other farm shows as a recruiting tool.

I'll try to share some more of our exciting projects over the next few weeks, so stay tuned!

Huge THANK YOU to the blockplanedesigns Color Crew for creating another outstanding piece of chalk art on the streets of Highland this weekend!

It was certainly a HOT day drawing on the pavement, but without a doubt, the Color Crew once again created the most vibrant and awe-inspiring chalk drawing of the day! So many people stopped by and told us how much they loved the colors and complexity of the composition! Many more viewers shared their excitement about seeing something from their childhood, Masters of the Universe, coming to life on the streets of Highland!

Best of all, THREE generations of Knobloch artists got to collaborate on our piece of chalk "art" this year!

Here's another fun design that's floating around town right now! It's the schedule postcard for the Highland Jaycees 2021 Schweizerfest! We started this design in the spring of 2020 but shelved it when Covid cancelled it last year's festivities. When the Jaycees contacted us to let us know that it was back on this summer we pulled out the design and added all the new info!

Our design choices came for this "totally rad" postcard came straight from the early 90's with inspiration from, Lisa Frank, Saved By the Bell, etc...Plus who doesn't love a dino with a boombox! It just screams FUN and in a few weeks at the Schweizerfest there will be ample opportunities to have fun - parades, bands, rides, etc! Hope to see you all up on the Square at the Schweizerfest!

You've probably already seen this floating around FB, but just wanted to share this creative on our page!

blockplanedesigns loves partnering with Hard Road Theatre Productions every year to do their show posters! It's exciting to see the kids back on stage this summer with their production of Moana, Jr.! For this poster we used wanted to "paint" a visual theme straight from the show. Give the viewer the feel the south pacific - islands, the open ocean, big expansive skies.

We can't wait to see this show! Not only because Hard Road always puts on an amazing show, but because all 4 Knobloch kids are in the show! Shows are this weekend and next at the Upper Elementary Auditorium! Opening night is tomorrow night! Hope to see you there!

Taking a few minutes from our busy day to share a new website we just launched a couple weeks ago!

If you love to BBQ and cook tasty meat over an open fire as much as we do, you're always looking for the perfect spice blend to flavor what you're cooking! I think we may have found it - Howlin' Dog Spices! It's good on everything! We've had it on fish, chicken, pork steaks, eggs and even veggies!

We were approached by this local company to redesign their OLD 15 year old website! Using the imagery and color scheme from their logo and spice bottles we crafted a new website with an updated color palette and more modern browser-friendly design! We integrated a simple e-commerce solution for them to sell their spices online as well.

We design a lot of theater show posters!

Here's a new one we completed recently for Highland Middle School's virtual/streaming production of Dear Edwina, Jr. this weekend! blockplanedesigns donated the design and printing of the posters for this show.
