Social media is no longer something to be passive about in your dental practice.
At the VERY least, your social media platforms that you are active on should be connected to your Google Business Profile. If they aren't, tell your marketing person or company to do this as soon as possible.
When you edit your Google Business Profile, Google literally shows you which platforms it wants connected. YouTube. Facebook. Instagram. LinkedIn. Etc…
That’s Google telling you social media matters.
It is no longer separate from SEO (This includes AI platforms). It supports it. It validates it. It helps you get found.
This isn’t about posting all day. It’s about having strong, authentic, human content on the platforms, with a strategy behind it that drives engagement, which Google and other search platforms consider a sign of trust.
When your business consistently appears across those channels, with quality trust signals, it reinforces who you are and what you do. That strengthens your chances of showing up when someone searches for your services.
I am consistently seeing Instagram posts, Facebook content, and YouTube videos appear more directly in search results.
If your business isn’t connected and active on social media, you will be harder to find online. It’s that simple.
Is your practice prioritizing social media in a strategic way to drive visibility and business results?
